Synopsis

Biography. The story of popular novelist Jacqueline Susann, who wrote several best-selling novels including `Valley of the Dolls' and `Once is not Enough'. Susann began her career as an actress, but only became successful when her second husband, Irving Mansfield, encouraged her to write a trashy novel about the starlets she had mixed with in Hollywood, which led to `Valley of the Dolls' and worldwide success in her new career.
