Film details

At the beginning of the film the viewer is informed that in 1994 three film-makers visited the Black Hills Forest area of Maryland, USA, to make a documentary about the Blair Witch legend. They were never seen again, although the footage they shot was found, which comprises most of the feature itself. The film then shows, in cinema-verité style, what actually happened to the three as they gradually became aware that they were in danger although at first they could not tell from what.
