The Whole Nine Yards (2000)

Film details

Synopsis

Comedy. A mild-mannered dentist, Nicholas Oseransky, who lives in a smart Montreal suburb, is mortified to find that his new neighbour is none other than Jimmy `The Tulip' Tudeski, a notorious contract killer. Jimmy gave evidence against his former employers, and is now out of prison - but not, unfortunately, safe within the confines of a police protection programme. The dentist's wife, Sophie, wants her boring husband dead, and while plotting to kill him for the insurance money she would gain, also manages to persuade him to arrange a deal in Chicago with Jimmy's former bosses to `sell' Jimmy back to them. Oseransky makes the acquaintance of Jimmy's wife, and is attracted to her immediately; meanwhile his dental assistant, Jill, has always had a yen to be a hitwoman, and intends to learn the ropes by working with Jimmy...
