Synopsis

Comedy. Ray Winkler is a middle-aged New York ex-convict who comes up with an outrageous plan - to rent a former pizza parlour and dig a tunnel underneath the premises to the bank along the street. As a cover for the operation, Ray and his wife Frenchy open a cookie parlour, which unexpectedly turns out to be a big success. As a result, a year later Sunset Cookies stores are open all over the US and the Winklers are millionaires. Unfortunately for Ray, Frenchy gets ideas above her station and begins to move up the ladder of hish society, aided and abetted by David, an art dealer, who is being paid by Frenchy to educate her in the finer things of life. Meanwhile, the disgruntled Ray begins to spend more and more time with May, Frenchy's cousin.
