Claire Bloom on Sammy and Rosie Get Laid: “I wish one could say things have changed”

Claire Bloom and actor and singer Roland Gift look back at Stephen Frears’s 1987 drama, in which Frears and writer Hanif Kureishi took pot-shots at the Thatcher government by portraying Britain as dismal and hopeless. Bloom, mentioning the Grenfell Tower disaster, says that very little has changed since.

Hosted by Justin Johnson.
