Comments

Except for the Renoir, I saw all these films when they opened, and they’ve become part of the fabric of my life. The absence of Lang, Hawks, Ozu, Mann, Tavernier, Mizoguchi, Antonioni, Donen, Welles, Wilder, Carné, Truffaut, Peckinpah, Powell, Losey, Scorsese, Leigh and a dozen others is a cause for sadness.
