It was hard for me to differentiate ‘favorite’ from ‘greatest’, especially when recognising the personal bias and the imprint that older films have made on me – and acknowledging how much I haven’t seen. My runners-up list could easily be over 100, perhaps signifying how arbitrary this choice is.
