BFI Film & TV Database Feedback
Thank you for your interest in the BFI Film & TV Database.
Please note that the database is an information resource and is not a record of the BFI's archival holdings.
If you are trying to find out more information about a film, television programme, person, or company found on the database, the BFI website offers a number of resources to help you in your research:
- Is it on DVD or Video for checking if a title is available on DVD or video in Britain.
- Film Links Gateway for a wide reaching selection of websites relating to film and media.
- The Researchers' Guide has resources to help answer your queries and assist your research - from identifying and contacting film and television industry organisations to locating your regional archive.
- Screenonline is a website devoted to the history of British film and television, with entries on individual films, television programmes and personalities.
- The BFI National Library book catalogue is searchable online, so you can check if a book has been published on your area of interest.
Corrections or additions to the Film & TV Database
The Film & TV Database is full of useful and interesting information and is regularly being added to and updated, but inevitably some information is inaccurate or incomplete. If you can offer specific suggestions for corrections or additions to existing records, please let us know. All additional information submitted by users does need to be researched and - once approved - will normally take two months to appear on the database.
