BBC writersroom
This is the BBC's online resource for writing for radio, television and film. Contents include: writers guidelines (for BBC programmes such as soaps, drama, and comedy; as well as radio and film); a useful script archive of BBC produced scripts; information on opportunities for writers; insights from established writers; and the script formatting template Script Smart which works with Microsoft Word on both PC and Macintosh platforms.

Rocliffe Writing Forum
Every three weeks Rocliffe runs a London based forum for writers, directors and actors. Short sections from four submitted scripts are selected, and on the night rehearsed with actors and a director before being performed. It is free to submit scripts and there is a nominal door charge on the night of the Rocliffe Forum.

The result of collaboration between the New Producers' Alliance and the Screenwriters Workshop, Screen Lab runss screenwriting courses in London. This accompanying website also holds articles on various aspects of screenwriting.

The Script Factory
The Script Factory's own site outlining the history, services and rationale of this London-based script development organisation. Focusing on training and entertainment by staging live readings of new screenplays, as a tool for writers and as a development opportunity, The Script Factory also runs a programme of discussion/workshop/masterclass events including SCENE, an annual festival of screenwriting.
The Script Vault
The Script Vault supplies a script registration service which has been approved by the Writer's Guild of Great Britain. They also offer an 'off-site' file back-up facility and a script appraisal service. Site contains some useful links and a free character name generator.
