Open Evening for Library Members
Monday 5 July 2004, 6.30-8.30pm
Library Reading Room, 21 Stephen Street, London W1T 1LN

In July 1934 Ernest Lindgren was appointed to run an information service for the BFI. The service he developed, and its associated collections, were to become the bfi National Library.

As annual members this is your chance to delve behind the scenes of the library and uncover the hidden treasures it has to offer.

The evening will provide an opportunity to:

  • view displays of rarely seen materials
  • see how the library works behind the scenes
  • share your views on the library and its services with staff

Refreshments will be provided.
