We can supply information and research materials on request to educational and private researchers - students, course leaders, teachers, academic researchers and members of the public - at a reduced rate.
Charges for Educational Research start at only £11.50 (£10+VAT), full details of rates can be found below.

Declaration forms

If your request involves us supplying copies of journal articles or other parts of published works, you will first be required to complete declaration forms regarding your use of these materials before you can take advantage of our Educational Research rates. If required, we will get back to you with further information on completing the forms.

If our Educational Research services are not applicable to you, our Standard Research rates will apply. Use of our Standard service does not require the completion of declaration forms.

Educational Research Rates

Research is charged at hourly rates. We offer a choice of three rates, based on your required timescale for delivery of research:

10 day service

confirmed research to be dispatched within 10 days
£20 per hour + VAT (£23.00 inc. VAT)
£10 + VAT (£11.50 inc. VAT) minimum charge

5 day service

confirmed research to be dispatched within 5 days
£40 per hour + VAT (£46.00 inc. VAT)
£20 + VAT (£23.00 inc. VAT) minimum charge

1 day service

confirmed research to be dispatched within 1 day
£60 per hour + VAT (£69.00 inc. VAT)
£30 + VAT (£34.50 inc. VAT) minimum charge

Conditions

• All payment must be made in advance.
• Charges include postage and packing where appropriate.
• Payment should be made by credit/debit card. UK customers may alternatively pay by cheque (made payable to BFI).
