Whether you are based within the industry or carrying out personal research, we can supply quick and easy access to information and research materials on request to meet your needs.

With charges from as little as £11.50 (for educational users), we can provide:

• relevant materials and information on all aspects of the industry from one of the biggest collections of documentation on film, television and the moving image in the world, backed up by the latest data sources
• distribution and rights information and advice for both current and back catalogue titles, tailored for producers, broadcasters, venues, festivals or film societies
• contact details for personalities and companies within the industry, nationally and internationally
• statistical information, including current and historical cinema and TV audience data
• with a choice of delivery of materials by photocopy or electronic scan where appropriate.

Standard Research Rates

Research is charged at hourly rates. We offer a choice of three rates, based on your required timescale for delivery of research:

10 day service

confirmed research to be dispatched within 10 days
£30 per hour + VAT (£34.50 inc. VAT)
£15 + VAT (£17.25 inc. VAT) minimum charge

5 day service

confirmed research to be dispatched within 5 days
£50 per hour + VAT (£57.50 inc. VAT)
£25 + VAT (£28.75 inc. VAT) minimum charge

1 day service

confirmed research to be dispatched within 1 day
£70 per hour + VAT (£80.50 inc. VAT)
£35 + VAT (£40.25 inc. VAT) minimum charge

Conditions

• All payment must be made in advance.
• Charges include postage and packing where appropriate.
• Payment should be made by credit/debit card. UK customers may alternatively pay by cheque (made payable to BFI).
