16+ source guides: Censorship

Written and compiled by Christophe Dupin and Ian O-Sullivan

Censorship

Censorship has been and may always be a contentious issue, with some people arguing for greater controls and others for more freedom. As well as some brief pointers towards censorship in the arts and media, we have looked at film, video and television separately, as well as the internet and computer games. Within film specifically we have focused on Crash, The Exorcist and A Clockwork Orange and whilst these are not new films they continue to challenge us to consider what is acceptable and what might not be.
