Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are perhaps the most influential two films of the early 1990s. The classy set pieces, snappy dialogue and use of soundtrack became the template of many wannabe auteurs. Many tried but none surpassed Tarantino's style. This guide enables the student to put Tarantino's work in a contemporary context.
