Stella Bruzzi
Professor Stella Bruzzi's main research interests have been in the fields of gender and identity in film and how costume and fashion relate to those issues. She has also had a long-term involvement in the research of Documentary.
Previously at the Department of Media Arts at Royal Holloway, University of London, Stella Bruzzi is now the Head of the Department of Film and Television Studies at the University of Warwick.
She has recently completed a forthcoming study of the seminal British television documentary series Seven Up for the BFI, and her next substantial project is a study of masculinity and mise-en scene in Hollywood cinema.
Professor Bruzzi has been a regular contributor to the BFI's Sight & Sound magazine. Her other notable publications include:
