Why should you subscribe to the Service?

We also offer a discount service for cultural organisations and educational establishments... anyone in fact, whether in Britain or oversees, who needs quick, accurate information on film and television.

How much does it cost?

  • An annual subscription to the service is £600+VAT but we understand the pressures in the media industry and can negotiate shorter-term deals to fit your requirements.

  • If you are a freelancer working for a range of companies you can take out a personal subscription at the special rate of £300+VAT per year.

What do you get for the money?

  • The ability to make an unlimited number of calls to our telephone information line every weekday 10am - 12 noon and 3pm - 5pm
  • A direct dial number exclusive to subscribers, which is prioritised by our staff.
  • The ability to request 24-hour research at a discounted rate (£65+VAT per hour rather than the standard rate of £80+VAT per hour). This is for longer requests that cannot be answered over the phone or if you require items to be sent to you.
  • A free company pass to the bfi National Library Reading Room.
