Statistics on film and television
The bfi National Library holds a range of resources that can assist statistical research on film production and distribution, television, DVD/video and cinemas. Materials can be accessed at the Library and bfi Information Services are able to undertake statistical research on request.
Until 2003 bfi Information Services collated statistics for publication, a selected archive of this data is made available here. Subsequent data on the UK film industry (from 2002 to date) is compiled in the UK Film Council's Statistical Yearbooks, copies of which can be downloaded from the UKFC website.

Cinema Admissions, yearly top tens, box office grosses and breakdowns.
TV Audiences
Terrestrial top 20s since 1993.
Academy Awards
British successes at the Oscars since 1927, and all nominations since 2000.
