Annual festival for films made by deaf filmmakers, or by hearing filmmakers that work with the deaf community, that takes place in Edinburgh, Scotland.

London Disability Arts Forum is a disability-led organisation focused on promoting Disability Arts and the work of disabled artists. Royal National Institute of the Blind Film and Media
The site of the RNIB contains various sections outlining how film, media and television can be used by the blind and partially sighted. Using search term 'film' - information available includes a list of cinemas throughout UK offering audio description of films, a list of videos about sight loss, and the RNIB Home Video Service. Also provides an extensive section on the information broadcast professionals need to know. This covers making TV accessible, the portrayal of blind/partially sighted on television and the better use of text on screen. Plus useful links throughout, to other relevant organisations.

Site dedicated to campaigning for 'subtitled and audio-described mainstream screening', for people with impaired sight and hearing. Provides details of cinemas which are introducing equipment for deaf and blind users throughout the UK, news on recent film releases - and its national petition for subtitled films. Users can send their email to site and be informed every week of new subtitled films showing in their locality.
