AFI's 100 Greatest Comedies
Part of the Greatest Film site, listing the top 100 fiction feature-length comedies selected in 2000 by the American film community and organised by the American Film Institute. Time period dates from 1900 - 2000 and the list is preceded by pertinent facts concerning the most featured actress, director, writer etc. Arranged by rank with the Number 1 slot taken by Some Like It Hot 1959, entries include director, short cast list and a brief commentary/ synopsis excerpted from the AFI.
