The BFI presents a national celebration of Ken Loach. One of the most distinguished English filmmakers at work today, Loach is responsible for some of the most memorable British film and television productions of the last five decades.

BFI Southbank
The BFI Southbank programme opens with the World Premiere of Save the Children Film and continues with an extended run of the newly restored Kes and other Loach classics including, Looking for Eric, Riff Raff, Cathy Come Home and The Wind That Shakes the Barley.
Nationwide venues
There will be special events and panel discussions touching on the evocative themes present in Loach's work in venues across the UK. BFI Mediatheques also allow you to explore many of Loach's collections online in London, Derby, Cambridge, Newcastle and Wrexham.
BFI DVD
The BFI has published two of Ken Loach's most loved films on DVD. The Navigators follows the fortunes of a group of rail track workers in South Yorkshire during the privatisation of British Rail. Black Jack is a children's adventure film set in the 18th Century which won the Critics' award at the 1979 Cannes Film Festival.
