I Am Love + Q&A with Tilda Swinton

A tragic love story set among Milan's upper class at the turn of the millennium, Luca Guadagnino's sumptuous tribute to classical Italian cinema I Am Love examines the machinations of the wealthy Recchi house, and features a stunning multi-lingual performance by British actress Tilda Swinton.

Here, the director and leading lady join host Wendy Ide in looking back at the pair's working relationship, the drawn-out inception of the project and some of the more unusual production techniques employed by the film-makers.

Also discussed are the political elements of the story, and the controversial reception the movie received at its Italian premiere.
