The Final Programme + Q&A with Michael Moorcock

As part of The Flipside event series, acclaimed writer Michael Moorcock took part in a Q and A about the making of the film The Final Programme, based on his first installment in the Jerry Cornelius novel series. One of Moorcock's bestselling series', this first book could not be published until two years after its completion in 1965. Moorcock's ideas clashed on a number of occasions with director Robert Fuest's vision of the film, and Moorcock refuses to consider another big screen adaptation as a result. The Final Programme was ultimately released as a double bill with an unrelated film, Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan.
