Conviction + Q and A

Conviction, starring Hilary Swank, is a reflection of the old adage that truth is stranger than fiction. Based on the story of Betty Anne Waters, the film takes us through her 18 year fight to free her brother Kenny, played by Sam Rockwell, after his imprisonment for a crime he did not commit. After the American Airlines Gala European premiere, the two lead actors and fellow cast member Minnie Driver took to the stage with writer Pamela Gray and Betty Anne Waters herself to discuss their experiences of making the film. Waters also expands on the tragedy and triumph that marked her brothers life.
