Steve Sale appears in lycra and earmuffs at BFI Southbank following a screening of his documentary Superhero Me, for which Sale's motivation was to construct a step-by-step guide to being a superhero without the superpowers. In this Q and A chaired by Laura Adams, Sale discusses how as a newcomer with absolutely no training he worked things out on the fly and found a narrative drive within endless hours of footage. He also talks about striking a balance between having a good camera and not wanting to be killed for having a good camera and his mission to prove that anyone could be a superhero. Even you.
