Industrial Relations on Screen: Peter Bradford

Peter Bradford joined Patrick Russell for an on stage discussion at BFI Southbank following the screening of one of his documentaries in the Boom Britain season. People, Productivity and Change was directed by Bradford in 1963, a 44 min reportage film on the introduction of work study and the tensions it caused. Bradford talks about the relationships he was able to forge with the people he interviewed. He remembers a workforce that had been left completely disempowered and the gratitude they showed for having someone to listen to their frustrations.
