Séance for Maya Deren

A panel of experimental film artists discuss the influence of Maya Deren on their work, as part of a BFI Southbank season commemorating the 50th anniversary of Deren's death. Sarah Pucill describes the female centredness of Deren's films, Daria Marton talks about the politics of her work, and Jayne Parker pays tribute to her independence of vision.
