The Times BFI London Film Festival Vodcast Day 13

Day 13 saw Ang Lee present his latest film Taking Woodstock at the Vue West End, where he was joined by stars Imelda Staunton and Henry Goodman, as well as writer/producer James Schamus. Also in the West End was acclaimed Italian director Gabriele Salvatores, who spoke about As God Commands, as well as C├ędric Kahn, writer/director of Regrets, and Samuel Maoz, writer/director of Lebanon. At BFI Southbank we attended the Film Credit Crunch event, presented in association with Time Out. Hosted by Time Out's Film Editor Dave Calhoun, this was a fascinating discussion on how the current economic climate affects the film industy, featuring US Indie Filmmaker Joe Swanberg (Alexander the Last), Clare Wise (head of international production for Universal and Focus Features), UK Producer Finola Dwyer, Sally Caplan from the UK Film Council and Justin Marciano from innovative distribution company Revolver Entertainment.
