Paula Milne in Conversation

Celebrated screenwriter Paula Milne visits BFI Southbank to coincide with a season of her television work. In this onstage Q&A she discusses her formative years writing scripts for Coronation Street, as a lone Southern woman among a group of Northern men. She also talks about John David, her controversial 1982 BBC Play for Today based on her own experience of having a child with Down's Syndrome, and her seminal 1995 Channel 4 drama The Politician's Wife.
