Paul Greengrass on The Battle of Algiers

Director Paul Greengrass (Bloody Sunday, The Bourne Ultimatum) introduces a screening of Gillo Pontecorvo's The Battle of Algiers (1966). Greengrass, who first saw The Battle of Algiers as a teenager, reveals the film's influence on his work, reflecting on its vigor, immediacy and abiding political currency.
