Absolute Hell + Q&A

Adapted from Rodney Ackland's play, and featuring Judi Dench and Bill Nighy in a large cast, Absolute Hell evokes life in a Soho drinking club during and after the Second World War. Director Anthony Page discusses the importance of casting and the creative freedom afforded by the short, intensive shoot. He is joined on stage by Robin Dalton, a former Literary Agent, who recalls the vibrant London scene captured in the film.
