The Devils + Q&A

After a rare screening of the director's cut of The Devils (1971), Ken Russell's controversial film about the political abuse of religious faith, actors Georgina Hale, Gemma Jones, Murray Melvin and Dudley Sutton and editor Mike Bradsell reminisce about collaborating with the filmmaker.

Melvin describes the experience of visiting Loudun, where the hysterical events of The Devils took place, while Sutton recalls working with Derek Jarman, the designer of the film's extraordinary sets, who went on to direct films himself.
