The Angels' Share + Q&A

Director Ken Loach and writer Paul Laverty discuss The Angels' Share, which tells the story of a young Glasgow criminal who discovers a route to a better life after visiting a whiskey distillery. Loach reveals that the film evolved from his preoccupation with the high levels of youth unemployment in contemporary Britain, and talks about casting first time actor Paul Brannigan in the lead role of Robbie. Laverty describes his personal interest in the whiskey industry, and drawing inspiration from the people of Glasgow.
