Searching For Sugar Man + Q&A

Director Malik Bendjelloul discusses his documentary Searching for Sugar Man, which follows two South Africans as they set out to discover the fate of their musical hero, mysterious 1970s folk rocker Rodriguez. Bendjelloul talks about the challenges presented by the fact that there is very little archive footage of his subject, before being joined on stage by the man himself. Rodriguez confesses to having seen the film over 30 times, and describes the thrill of seeing his family on the big screen.
