The Long and the Short of it 2009
Unique one-day programme of professional devlopment workshops for LGBT filmmakers.

The LLGFF, with support from Skillset, is once again offering a unique, one-day programme of professional development workshops for 20 selected LGBT filmmakers seeking to move from short to feature filmmaking. The Long and Short of It 2009 will be held during the LLGFF on 2nd April 2009, from 10am-6pm, followed by networking drinks.
Topics covered will include: directors' masterclass; funding and producing feature films; developing feature film stories; marketing, sales and distribution, the role of festivals, plus understanding barriers to making feature films for LGBT filmmakers and how can these be overcome.
The programme will be led by guest international filmmakers and industry professionals who are all experienced in LGBT films. The cost of the programme is £25/£15 concessions.
