This is a powerful film, that portrays the drama of a youngster with all the pain and traumatic experience of growing into a sexed adult with the added difficulty of being intersex.
It is a film with guts, treating the subject with realism and honest detail without sentimentalism or being afraid of raw emotion and feelings.
The actors are all phenomenal specially the protagonist.

A very powerful film. I'd agree with the previous poster that the film dealt with the issues in a raw and honest way. The young woman playing Alex was excellent, and despite all the pain and fear you get a real sense of warmth and hopefulness from the way the family, especially her father, support her in whatever choice she makes for herself. I really got a lot from this film.
