The Walker

Woody Harrelson excels in this murder mystery with a difference.

"I'm not naïve. I'm superficial". So states Woody Harrelson in his brilliant portrayal of Carter Page III. Carter is a 'walker', a high class, unpaid, non-sexual escort who accompanies the wives of rich and powerful men when their husbands are not available. His self-description sums him up completely as he entertains the influential women and enables gossip to spread amongst the elite so that it serves the purpose of protecting truth and creating myth.

As part of this protection he seeks to cover for the brittle beautiful Lynn when she discovers her murdered lover. When Carter becomes a prime suspect himself, he is forced to confront some home truths. One such truth is standing up to the legacy of his mythical liberal father who testified over Watergate and another is having to face up to his lover Emek who would most willingly give him more. If only Carter would give into life.

This is a murder mystery with a difference that boasts a stellar cast.
