The Long and the Short of It
A day of three professional development workshops for LGBT filmmakers. By prior application: deadline 17 MarchFor the first time, the LLGFF, with support from Skillset, is offering a unique, one-day programme of three professional development workshops for 20 LGBT filmmakers seeking to move from short to feature filmmaking.
The programme will be held during the LLGFF on 2nd April, from 10am – 6pm, followed by networking drinks. Topics covered will include: understanding the funding climate; developing stories; the role of the sales agent and distributor; how to reach audiences: niche and general.
The sessions will be led by industry professionals, including fund executives, producers, directors, development executives, sales agents and distributors and will include case studies of feature films. The cost of the programme is £25 / £15 concessions.
