Silent Hitchcock films in the London 2012 Festival

The BFI is delighted to announce that three of Hitchcock’s silent films, restored under the BFI's fundraising campaign 'Rescue the Hitchcock 9', will be an official part of the London 2012 Festival next summer, the finale of the Cultural Olympiad.

Staged as spectacular one-off events and accompanied by live performances of the newly commissioned orchestral music scores, these will be not-to-be-missed opportunities to see the skilful restoration work of BFI Archive on the big screen.
