About us

Formed in September 2013, Cricklade Cinema may be small but we believe in offering our audience the best possible experience we can! Our aim is to show "films you want to see in a friendly comfortable environment at a reasonable price." We can seat up to 120 people in comfort and show films every 4th Tuesday of the month from September through to April plus the occasional extra feature. We provide film notes and free sweets; plus a choice of locally sourced ice creams which are available to purchase. We ask our audience to rate each film so that we can gauge the type of film they like to watch and aim to provide a programme that suits varied tastes. In addition to recent films, we show the occasional classic plus something less mainstream that we call 'the Committee Choice' and also invite our audience to vote for a film of their choice at least once a season.

Over the summer of 2015 we were very pleased to receive a new NEC projector thanks to the BFI Neighbourhood Cinema Fund and also purchased new Yamaha speakers.   In January 2017 we added a DENON BD500 professional grade Blu-Ray player to complete the set . The results are quite special! In addition, we now have padded conference chairs and extra cushions to ensure that everyone can watch in comfort.

Our Autumn 2017 film programme has just been finalised and tickets are now on sale from Cricklade Town Council Offices.  At £4 per individual film or £10 for a season ticket to all four films they offer excellent value for money. For more details please visit our website.
