To keep cool during these heady summer temperatures we’ve put together a fantastic water-themed family goody bag.

Contents include:

  • A family ticket to the BFI Southbank screening of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (11 and 17 Sept). Troubled Captain Nemo (Mason) is in charge of a submarine with a loyal crew. Working out of his secret island base, he carries out attacks on warships in order to avenge a family tragedy. When Nemo allows three shipwrecked sailors on board, he starts a high-seas adventure full of thrills and spills! Based on Jules Verne’s classic novel, and personally produced by Walt Disney himself, this steam-punk sci-fi remains a firm family favourite.

The BFI Southbank is fully accessible for buggies and pushchairs as well as changing facilities and don’t miss the Kids eat for free offer at The Riverfront.

To enter, email filmcompetitions@bfi.org.uk with SEA in the subject header by 31 August 2016 with your answer to the following question:

Who is the odd one out?

  • Nelson
  • Sinbad the Sailor
  • Captain Birdseye
  • Moby Dick

Why not be like the shipwrecked sailors and enjoy your own adrenaline fuelled adventure! Become your own thrill-seeking sailor by speeding along the Thames with a ThamesJet experience. We have partnered with Thamesjet to offer you a family ticket — enjoy a ride on one of their Thamesjet RUSH (50 minutes) speedboats this September.
