This April the Criterion Collection and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announce the first wave of Criterion Collection releases in the UK, with six films.
Each film is presented uncut, in its original aspect ratio, and is accompanied by the same fantastic host of film extras as on the celebrated US versions.
Demonstrating the historic breadth of the Criterion Collection, the list of films released are:
- Speedy – the last silent feature to star Harold Lloyd
- Frank Capra’s screwball comedy It Happened One Night
- Howard Hawks’s Only Angels Have Wings
- Polanski’s Macbeth
- modern classics Grey Gardens and Tootsie.
The films are available to order now.
The closing date is Tuesday 31 May.
The competition is open to UK residents only.
