Adam Driver is Paterson, a bus driver in the New Jersey city of the same name in this sublime film by Jim Jarmusch, which comes to DVD and Blu-ray from Soda Pictures on 27 March.
Paterson is also a poet, recording his daily observations and thoughts into a notebook. He thrives on routine which includes driving his bus route, his walks with his dog and visits to his local bar for one beer. By contrast his wife Laura’s world is ever-changing.
The film quietly observes the triumphs and defeats of daily life, along with the poetry evident in its smallest details.
