Celebrate Edgar Wright’s London After Dark, and Soho institution Ronnie Scott’s

To mark Edgar Wright’s London After Dark season at the BFI we’ve teamed up with our friends at Ronnie Scott’s to offer you a Soho-themed goody bag.

Darling (1965)

Prize contents include:

  • Two tickets and two house cocktails for the revered, recently returned Ronnie Scott’s Late Late Shows, Wednesday to Saturday from 11pm.
  • Plus two tickets to see Darling – staring the luminous Julie Christie – on Saturday 20 November 13:20, screening as part of Edgar Wright’s London After Dark. Released in the very middle of the 1960s, this John Schlesinger film also feels like the very epicentre of the scene. Julie Christie’s Diana Scott seems like the girl who has it all, but being the life of the party isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Just as the sixties were about to hit full swing, this sharp satire reveals the paper-thin reality of cover-story perfection.

Simply answer this question:

  • Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, in London’s Soho district, is one of the world’s most popular jazz clubs. But when was it founded?
