onedotzero is renowned for uncovering the most innovative and exciting moving image work from all over the world. Its curated compilation programmes showcase inspiring up-and-coming talent alongside fresh work from leading creatives working across digital animation, motion graphics, experimental shorts and music video, all present new approaches to graphic storytelling and suggest future visual trends.
installations
onedotzero spills out from the screen in to the open spaces of the BFI Southbank with a series of installations for audiences to engage and play with. Alongside the festival identity installation powered by Nokia and the interactive music video lounge, there will be Squidsoup's 'Glowing Pathfinder Bugs', a playful interactive sand pit for kids of all ages, a multi-touch screen exhibit by So touch for you to delve deeper into the festival content and more to be announced...
innervisions
onedotzero's innervisions series will bring you closer to the creatives, ideas and undercurrents of this years festival programme via an inspiring mix of talks, presentations and workshops. Exploring ideas from city interventionists and street art to the digital realities of audience engagement, connectivity and community, alongside themed tech workshops. onedotzero will also breakdown the creation and development of this years identity. There is something to illuminate everyone, with many sessions free and open.
audio-visual performances + bar events
From break-dancers to animation masters, French Touch to audio-visual mayhem onedotzero will be extending out its programmes into a series of audio-visual performances and bar events at Benugo bar and BFI foyer spaces. onedotzero partners, directors and producers have been invited to create a party atmosphere each night of the festival. Expect DJs, visuals, extra special surprise guests, as a backdrop to nice nights of truly social interaction.
