Jonny Davies

Jonny joined the BFI in 2010, initially in a role supporting the development team during London Film Festival before moving to BFI special collections. His main remit is to facilitate public research access to the scripts, document & ephemera collections. He also co-ordinates the Mezzanine displays at BFI Southbank and co-curated the Scripts & Screenwriters exhibition to accompany the 2012 BFI/BAFTA Lecture Series.

He has an in-depth knowledge of the collections, with a particular interest in the papers of screenwriter Janet Green and directors Derek Jarman, Joseph Losey and John Schlesinger. He trained as a librarian at the University of Leeds, after completing a degree in English and History.
