Katrina Stokes

Katrina manages the access and IPR services to a global community of donors and rights holders requiring access to the BFI’s national film and TV collection. Past project highlights include the International Olympic Committee’s restoration of the 1948 London Olympic Games film, The Glory of Sport, and partnering with the Paramount Film Archive to digitally preserve 69 Republic library titles.

Katrina’s career is rooted in the exhibition sector. Before joining the BFI in 2001, she gained an invaluable foundation in collections management whilst assisting the Keeper of Western Art at The Ashmolean, and prior to this, spent three years gaining film exhibition and distribution experience at City Screen Ltd.

Katrina holds a BA Hons in the History of Modern Art, Design and Film, several post graduate diplomas in Media Law and IP Law, and is an IPO-accredited IP Health Check Advisor.
