Mark Kermode

Mark Kermode is the UK’s most prolific film writer and broadcaster. As well as being a long-time contributor to Sight & Sound, he is the chief film critic for the Observer, co-presenter of BBC Radio 5 Live’s phenomenally popular show Kermode and Mayo’s Film Review and the resident film reviewer for the BBC News Channel. He hosts the monthly event Mark Kermode Live in 3D at the BFI Southbank, and curates and introduces classic films for BFI Player. He is also the author of The Exorcist (BFI Modern Classics, 2nd edition), The Good, the Bad and the Multiplex (2012) and Hatchet Job: Love Movies, Hate Critics (2013).

He is also a founding member of the skiffle band the Dodge Brothers, for which he plays double bass.
