Senior Librarian for Reader and Mediatheque Services

Sarah Currant was awarded an MSc in Information Management in 2002 and joined the BFI as Reading Room Librarian in 2005 from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Library. She became Reader Services Librarian in 2011, which expanded her remit within the library team. With the assistance of the Reader Services team, Sarah also oversees the programme of Collections Focus displays in the reading room, the digital document supply service, and handles a wide variety of enquiries from researchers about all areas of the BFI’s vast collections.
