Scott Starck

Archive Project Manager

Scott oversees the Archive’s technical processes in film, video and digital. He project-managed the technical process for curatorial projects including Documentary Centenaries (Best Restoration Project, FOCAL Awards), Shadows of Progress, This Working Life: King Coal, This Working Life: Shipbuilding and the collections of the GPO Film Unit (now a UNESCO World Heritage collection). He led the restoration of the Wonderful London series, presented at the 2012 London Film Festival. He is currently managing the Unlocking Film Heritage (UFH) digitisation process, part of the BFI’s Film Forever strategy.
