Screening as part of the Shakespeare on Film programme, marking 400 years since the Bard’s death, Richard III will be presented from a new 2K restoration. Audience members can submit their questions for the post-film discussion using #RichardIII and can participate in wider Shakespeare discussions using #ShakespeareLives.
Richard III, co-starring Annette Bening, Maggie Smith, Jim Broadbent, Kirsten Scott Thomas, Nigel Hawthorne, Robert Downey Jnr and Dominic West, is also being screened at BFI Southbank and rereleased by the BFI on DVD/Blu-Ray Dual Format Edition on 23 May with brand new additional material, including new audio commentary.
